Band of Misfits may soon become the fastest growing casual raiding guild on Azuremyst. Thanks to breasts! Hooray!
I was looking through my old pictures and found some old screenshots...WAY back in the day...Check Teh Elo out in FULL Wildheart gear and The Hammer of the Grand Crusader. Man I worked my ASS off to get that things. As well as the many weeks I spent in so many different instances to get the Wildheart gear. I miss this stuff. It looks so much cooler than the the sets these days...as well as having it be a 8 piece set. Getting it was hard but I felt SO AWESOME when I got it. /sigh I miss the old days sometimes. I think I'm gonna log on and run around in my Wildheart outfit. Yes...I've still got it and I refuse to give it up.

Man I am HORRIBLE at this blog thing. I think of things to write, I physically write them down, and then forget to post them. /sigh Such is life.
In Band of Misfits News...
We downed Festergut and Rotface! Hooray! It took time, the kills weren't pretty, but we did it! Though much to my dismay I died on each of the kills. =( Part of it is definitely the fact that my video card and power supply are on the outs. They are quite old and are in dire need of replacing. But alas, money must be saved so I can go to school this summer.
I got my Gryphon Hatchling about a week ago.
I have named her Griffie. Yes, creative, I know. I also got myself a Lil' KT and Pandaren Monk. Griffie is of course my favourite vanity pet at the moment but a close second is Mr. Lil' KT. The little head spin thing and laugh that he does every so often is AWESOME. I have yet to see him kill a rat with one of his deadly Frostbolts (I know they exist, I've died to plenty of them). I think my favourite thing about Griffie is that even if I mount up to fly, she's with me! Yes...this baby flies! When you mount up she jumps up and flies behind you. It's great, even when I turn into a birdy on Krasus' Landing and fly to ICC she follows. It's like my own little baby bird!
This Tree Can Cook!
After MUCH complaining from Mr. Kawdor about the fact that I couldn't cook, I hunkered down and finished up what Shadowson started and got my Cooking skill to 450! Upon doing this I promptly made about a BAZILLION Fish Feasts for myself to stand in. Yay for being self-sufficient sort of...Now if only my Fishing skill was maxed.
I Sometimes Think I Should have Been A Lit. Major
I love reading, if I could just read and some how make money that way I could but unfortunately I cannot At the moment I am reading Stormrage by Richard A. Knaak, Day of the Dragon by Richard A. Knaak, Lost In a Good Book: A Thursday Next Novel by Jasper Fforde, and Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightening Thief by Rick Riordan. I just finished Arthas: Rise of the Lich King by Christine Golden, The Erye Affair: A Thursday Next Novel by Jasper Fforde, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling (again). GAH! I cannot stop. I just want to read and read and read. I even enjoy re-reading my favourites. I can always be in the middle of Heart of Darkness, the Harry Potter series, and/or the Thursday Next series. I am glad I love reading so much. Reading loves my brain and my brain loves me.
In Other News...
The time of my husband's odyssey is getting close. Some of my plans for my summer alone are a couple classes, guitar lessons, maybe a job, and taking care of kitties I should hopefully be getting next weekend. /crosses fingers Anything fun that can be suggested would be greatly appreciated.

Fun Fact: Today, 49 of the 50 United States have snow. The only state without snow today is Hawaii. I find it quite hard to think of parts of Florida under snow but apparently that is the way it is.
Currently I am in an area sans snow and am quite happy about it. I love you Bay Area with your moderate climate!
Where is the Love?
If you are a World of Warcraft player you might have noticed the decorations around indicating that the "Love Is In The Air" World Event is now happening. (Yes...all those heart wreaths around do not mean Christmas in February.) Last year I had a ball with this event partially because I leveled Elocine to Level 80 during the event just to get the "Love Fool" title. I went from 77 to 80 in a little less than one day, in the days before the Random Dungeon (which now you can ROFL-level quick as you want), strictly to get into Naxx to do the Pity The Fool Achievement. I liked the way the event worked last year, the card giving and the heartbreaking, it was enjoyable without taking up TOO much time. This year to my dismay the whole event is discombobulated!!! Everything this year is different and now there is even a boss that drops a mount that I now have to acquire! I am so confused with it I don't even know where to start with the whole thing. Killing the Undead to make bracelets?? What kind of shenanigans are these?! These things make me happy that I finished the event last year. It was quite grueling to do it the way I did it last year but hey...I got my title without have to making bracelets made of bones... o.O
Lunar New Year is also coming up which means the Lunar Festival in WoW is just around the corner. Now hopefully that World Event is not screwed up and I can get my Elder title this year... Here's to hoping we don't have to skin Night Elves for their shimmering skin. =O

Happy New Year!
I'm do apologize for being offline for sometime. Just after the New Year my Grandfather passed away which kept Chris and I in California a bit longer than expect. Upon our return to Virginia I immediately returned to school and Chris went off on a voyage. During the first few weeks of school the workload has been substantial. Most of my classes this semester involve a lot of reading they include: Macroeconomics, History of Western Civilization II, and Oceanography. My math class doesn't really require much by way of reading...more by doing...XD
Great raid this weekend Band of Misfits! I got to DPS this week (=O /le gasp) as we ended up with 9 healers in the raid this weekend. I of course wasn't SO great I'm pretty geared out with my DPS set though I think my rotation needs a little reworking. This weekend I did acquire some new gear =D I got Deathwhisper's Chestpiece and got enough Frost Emblems to get Lasherweave Pauldrons. We didn't get to any new bosses this week but I think we did well.
Swiftmend: Are you a mender?
Currently, in my healing spec (which can be seen here) I am specced into Swiftmend. Personally I have a love-hate relationship with Swiftmend. Now I love what Swiftmend does and if you have it glyphed (as I do) it can be a lifesaver if you have both Rejuvination and Regrowth up on your target. Personally I've had Swiftmends crit for +20,000. I get very excited when I see big healing numbers like that, bold, green, numbers flashing before my eyes letting me know that I am helping out in a big way. But I've never seen a big need for Swiftmend, I can keep tanks or raid heal perfectly without having to use it. It's just seems to me like a wasted talent point. With my haste as high as it is, its not a problem to pop a Nourish on people getting low on health or even pop Nature's Swiftness and Healing Touch. So possibly I'm not using the mechanic correctly. Fact of the matter is with or without it I can heal pretty damn well. Swiftemend to me only seems to pad my healing numbers and in all honesty I forget to use it from time to time. I can see uses for it but with my healing rotation (Tanks: Rejuvination, Lifebloom x3, Regrowth, Nourish, re-apply; Raids: Regrowth, Rejuv, Nourish?, Repeat) it doesn't seem to work out for me. Maybe I'll play around with it a little more and we shall see.
This last week I leveled Kochanski to 80 and am currently gearing her up to be a Tank. I quite enjoy tanking though I am trying to learn the mechanics of how Parry, Dodge, and Shield Blocking all work. I must delve into some Paladin Tank blogs and figure it out. I think I'm doing okay but it often pisses me off when pug DPS-ers hit other things than my target, have you guys ever heard of assisting off the tank? Clearly you haven't and if you did that in a raid you'd be kicked in a second. The random dungeon tool can be a blessing but it can also very much be a curse.
I made a new Druid!!! Her name is Elheaux (a name more or less given to me by Matheo) and I plan on making her a kitty/bear specced. She's only level 2 right now and I've equipped her with Stained Shadowcraft Spaulders and will probably equip her with a Stained Shadowcraft Tunic. We'll see how it goes.
As for Nymphidora, I finally transferred her over to Azuremyst and made her a Gnome! Yay for Gnome Warlocks.
This ends this transmission from Teh Elo...See you on the flip side!!

Christmas is coming!! T-minus 3 days and counting!! We finally got our tree up today!! There's only one present under it right now. >.> I should really get on my wrapping <.< And of course since I'm excited for Christmas illness has crept up and nipped me in the behind, well, really the nose and head. I spent most of last night not sleeping, but tossing and turning due to pressure and lack of oxygen...
Today I did feel a bit better and tried to take a nap but to no avail. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep a bit tonight.
Some afterthoughts on Icecrown Citadel 10-man.
-I did have a lot of fun although it was long an exhausting
-The strategy that finally worked on Deathbringer Saurfang was having the melee quickly killing one of the Blood Beasts and the ranged killing the second one. If you're in a melee heavy group, try it out. It worked out well with us, our group consisted of a Paladin and a Warrior as tanks, another Warrior, a Warlock, a Mage, a Rogue, and a Hunter for DPS, and a Druid (ME!!), a Paladin, and a Shaman as healers. During Saurfang we changed over and had our Shaman (DS-ed in Enhancement) also melee leaving myself and our Healing Paladin to heal the fight. Like I said, if you're having trouble with Saurfang and have a melee heavy group, give our strategy a try =)
-I cannot wait to do it again. =D
Well now I must cook dinner. Tacos!! Yay!

So...
5.5 hours later.
These achievements were achieved by myself and others in Icecrown Citadel 10-man...
Storming The Citadel & I've Gone And Made A Mess.
Oh my God.
My brain hurts.
No Pressies for me but Congo-rats for those who go Pressies.
Lier got a sexy plate 'kilt'.
I think it looks like a skirt but I'm told its a kilt.
Something very exciting though
I am re-reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and I do love Zaphod Beeblebrox.
The Goblin you get the rocket pack from is named Zafod Boombox.
YAY for HHGG references!!!
Also, Blizzard you are ridiculous.
Putting rockets on my bear butt is not nice!!!
=(
So demeaning.
I really should go to bed.
My sleep schedule really needs to be reset.
Christmas is near!
I am planning a tasty dinner of Roast Chicken, Roasted Potatoes, and some kind of vegetable.
I also need to start making my cookies.
I will definitely start cleaning house tomorrow.
We have not even put up the tree! /gasp
Must...not...turn...computer...on...in...the...morning.
Must...clean...apartment.
So it snowed.
About half an inch.
Ridiculous.

It seems funny to me when people claim themselves to be apart of some nerd-dom when they don't know or fully understand all the underlying meanings and connotations of that specific nerd-dom. It's even funnier when they get things relating to that specific nerd-dom tattooed on themselves. Take this for example, "Expecto Patronum" Harry Potter Tattoo - A Fancy Plea For a Baby Daddy (Great White Shark). Being apart of the Harry Potter nerd-dom, I try my damnedest to understand meanings and roots to better appreciate the story at hand and the characters with in that specific universe. In the future I plan on getting a Harry Potter-verse related tattoo, but being the good nerd I am I have fully researched the meaning of the words being tattooed as well as where they are originally from and why they are in the book. This woman clearly did not. Getting the phrase 'expecto patronum' across your lower abdomen is not the product of rational or in-depth thought. She is basically saying to her next lover, hook-up, or fare "I need a daddy." Ma'am you fail. You're amount of fail is indescribable.

After an excess of eating organic foods I have found that eating processed foods hurts my tummy. I am not pleased by this. I appreciate the taste of $1.00 Mama Celeste Pizzas and cheap Banquet meals...But now...the taste just doesn't do it for me anymore...I don't like have a hurtie tummy.
HOORAY!!!! NCIS marathon. Thank you USA for your lovely marathons every night this week. This will definitely help with my boredom issues due to my husband being away. Friday needs to come as quickly as it possibly can.
We watched the season premieres of How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and The Good Wife.
How I Met Your Mother...was of course wonderful and hilarious. Barney and Robin are totally in love!!! At some point we really need to meet Ted's love. There's a part of me that is annoyed about it. I am one of those people who figure out the mystery before it's revealed and I can't figure it out! But that's okay. It's funny enough that I keep it on the back burner.
The Big Bang Theory...was also hilarious. Though I do feel bad for Sheldon. Also his mother...is ridiculous. Though I am happy that Sheldon left Texas...he didn't belong there. The whole Penny and Leonard did get weird...but we'll see how it pans out. The next episode will be interesting as we follow that story line.
NCIS...was so confusing but ultimate very good. At the beginning I could not figure out what was happening which was quite exciting but frustrating. I think Smitty might have been a little frustrated with me regarding that because I was being antsy. I was so worried when Tony was getting the crap beat out of him and not Ziva. Gibbs must be a super human...I am convinced that he is. He was in a sniper nest 1000+yds away from where Tony, McGeek, and Ziva were being held and when they get out of the room Gibbs is BAM there. There was no way he ran over 2 hills and through a building in about 2 minutes. Other than that I was quite pleased. Also making the "badass" chick cry. That was awesome.
NCIS: Los Angeles...did that suck? Yes. It did. It sucked very much. NCIS has a fancy undercover operation going on in L.A. with a spiffy 'condemned' headquarters. Screw you NCIS: Los Angeles, screw you.
The Good Wife...I quite enjoyed The Good Wife. Seemed pretty insightful and I'm a sucker for Christine Baranski. She's awesome. The first case she worked one was kinda a wash but I'd like to see how everything goes with the douchebag husband. She should dump his ass...I better not be put into a good wife situation.
Good luck and good night Interwebs. Good night

The Spanish Inquisition song from History of the World Part I is pretty amazing. I just would have loved to see Nazis on Ice...
It is Brewfest time again in World of Warcraft and Elocine will be going for the title of Brewmaster Elocine. In addition to Brewfest, Patch 3.2.2 came out today. Ony I am going to kick your ass again! And hopefully get some fun presents from it. I haven't really been raiding to much...stupid brokenness and work getting in the way...
More notes on the Roman Republic today. I am hoping to finish out this chapter this week before the weekend so as to have some time with the husband.
I SUCCESSFULLY KILLED A SPIDER LAST NIGHT!!! /proud of self Granted I had to be coached by Smitty over the phone and it took me nearly 20 minutes to get myself together. Spiders here apparently do not die from being cover in a thick coat of Raid. I ended up murdering it by way of smashing it with a pan. Probably the scariest moment ever. I had to console myself with some chocolate...

Clearly the football gods do not shine upon my New England Patriots. Though they do seem to shine upon my San Francisco 49ers! Finals for both games: NE Patriots 9 - NY Jets 16, SEA Seahawks 10 - SF 49ers 23. Though I am quite perturbed about the Patriots lose, the 49ers win is pretty fantastic. 2 - 0 and both games they won were conference games, and when it comes down to the bitter end, who ever did better in their specific conference goes on!
My paper that was half written while on mind altering medication and half during NPH's amazing hosting of the Emmy's was well received by those who read it during today's "Writer's Workshop." I was surprised on one hand but on the other I was not. This was one of those days where my snobbery hits all new highs and begs the question: "Do you know what a thesis is?" Things like this make me cry and once again remind me why I want to be a teacher. When you get the college level, in my opinion, there are certain things you need to know. Writing a thesis is one of them and that has seem to passed those who's papers I read by.
NPH was quite amazing hosting the Emmy's last night. Great opening number as well as Dr. Horrible's hacking of the show. I didn't quite catch all of the Emmy's last night but I did record the last part of it so when I return home from my DREADFUL day at fail college I'll prop myself up and watch the rest.
Now to write some lovely history notes and possibly work some more on my Evaluation paper.

As of this moment I do not have any pets. This makes me slightly sad but I'm okay with that. I did find today while I was Stumbling 8 Ways to Prepare Your Pets For War I swear if any war comes to the homefront that's what what I'm doing with mah pets!

Clearly the football gods do not shine upon my New England Patriots. Though they do seem to shine upon my San Francisco 49ers! Finals for both games: NE Patriots 9 - NY Jets 16, SEA Seahawks 10 - SF 49ers 23. Watching the New England Patriots game. NE Patriots vs. NY Jets. Jets suck. -2 passing yard!! HAHAHAHAHA Anywho. Just watching the game here on the couch in my Wes Welker jersey. Granted today, Wes is not playing due to a knee injury...just like me! What the hell is with this not being able to convert on 3rd down!?!? GRRRRR Smitty's sitting on the couch as well, in his Bruschi jersey, shining his shiny boots for work this week.
I'm not sure how well I am going to be doing this week. Last week was a pretty bad week for my pain levels and I have been having quite a bit of swelling in the knees. I am quite surprised some days that my other joints aren't screaming out at me, but then again this is not a full body problem I suppose.
Another invention for dinner again. Meatloaf Steaks! Making a full meatloaf for Smitty and I is kinda ridiculous...so I'm taking half (maybe +) a pound of ground beef, garlic, onions, some herbs, seasonings, and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce mixing it all together frying it up for some Meatloaf Steaks! Served on a slice of Roasted Garlic Bread and some Potato Au Gratin! MMMM TASTY!
After this game...which I am quite sure the Patriots will win despite being behind at this time (9 - 13) I will be writing a paper. Oh the joys of evaluating other people's works.
